The MD8 module serves as an external relay unit designed to expand alarm capabilities for any compatible GEFRAN instrument.
It provides up to eight relay outputs that can be internally configured as either normally open or normally closed contacts.
Alternatively, the device can offer eight logic outputs.
Each relay is accompanied by a front-panel LED that lights up when the relay is energized.
The unit connects to the main (“master”) instrument through a simple three-wire link.
