Description
The microprocessor controllers come in 48x96 mm (1/8 DIN) format for model 1000 and 96x96 mm (1/4 DIN) format for models 1001 and 1101, produced using SMT technology.
The 1000 series provides a comprehensive operator interface, with a Lexan membrane front panel offering IP54 frontal protection. It includes three control keys, dual green LED displays (3 digits for model 1000 and 4 digits for models 1001/1101), red LEDs for the three alarm relay outputs, and a green LED indicating the main control output.
The primary control input is universal and supports a variety of signal types:
- Thermocouples: types J, K, N, S, R, T
- Resistance thermometer Pt100 (3-wire)
- Linear inputs: 0–50 mV, 10–50 mV (keyboard selectable), 2–10 V, 0–10 V, 0–20 mA, 4–20 mA with external shunt
An additional analog input is available for current transformer (C.T.) measurements.
The instrument features dual control outputs: relay (5 A, 250 VAC at cosφ=1) and static (24 Vdc, max 20 mA), plus up to three alarm relay outputs (3 A, 250 VAC). Alternatively, the main output can be configured as analog (0–20 mA, 4–20 mA, 0–10 V, 2–10 V).
Optional communications include Current Loop or RS485 with GEFRAN (Cencal) protocol at up to 9600 baud.
Programming is simplified using function block grouping, and access to configuration parameters is protected by a hardware jumper. Protection codes can be set to limit which parameters users may view or modify.
- Thermocouple and resistance thermometer inputs fully configurable via front panel
- Input signal offset adjustment
- Main output selectable: relay, analog (mA), or logic
- 1–3 configurable alarm outputs
- Auxiliary input for current transformer (C.T.)
- Alarms for open-circuit or short-circuited probes
- Configurable PD alarm output for cooling applications
- Self-tuning/auto-tuning, soft-start, seamless manual/auto transfer
- Optoisolated 4-wire serial communication interface
