This microprocessor controller comes in a 48x48 mm (1/16 DIN) format and is built using SMT technology.
It offers a complete operator interface, protected by a Lexan® membrane providing IP65 frontal protection.
The device includes 4 keys, two 4-digit green LED displays, 4 red LEDs indicating the status of logic or relay outputs, and 3 additional programmable LEDs showing operational conditions.
The main process input is universal, supporting thermocouples, resistance thermometers, thermistors, and standard linear signals, with the ability to apply custom linearization through the front panel.
Input type selection is made from the faceplate keys, eliminating the need for external shunts.
An auxiliary analog input for a current transformer is also available.
The isolated digital input can select between preset setpoints, switch Manual/Automatic mode, reset alarms, or enable the hold function.
Up to four outputs are supported: relay (3A, 250V) or logic (12Vdc, 20mA), with an optional analog output in voltage or current.
Each output is fully configurable via the faceplate and can repeat digital input states, process variables, setpoints, drifts, alarm limits, or serial line values.
An additional isolated output (10 or 24Vdc, max 30mA) can supply external transmitters.
RS485 communication allows connection to PLCs or supervision systems using GEFRAN CENCAL or MODBUS RTU protocols.
Programming is simplified through functional blocks (CFG for control, Inp for inputs, Out for outputs), and irrelevant parameters are automatically hidden according to hardware configuration.
The controller is preloaded with an “EASY” setup, containing only essential parameters. Users can set the setpoint and alarm, start self-tuning, and the device handles the rest.
