The 600 OF Open Frame microprocessor controller, sized 44x91 mm (1/16 DIN) and manufactured using SMT technology, offers a complete operator interface.
It includes 4 keys, two green 4-digit LED displays, 4 red LEDs for logic or relay outputs, and 3 programmable LEDs to indicate operational states.
An external keyboard can be connected for customized operations.
The main process input is universal, supporting thermocouples, resistance thermometers, thermistors, and standardized linear inputs, all configurable with front panel keys. No external shunts are needed.
Control can be executed in either standard mode or via a 3-step setpoint programmer.
The isolated digital input allows selecting between preset setpoints, switching between Manual and Automatic modes, resetting alarms, or activating the hold function.
Up to 5 outputs are available: relay (5A at 250Vac/30Vdc, cosφ = 1) or logic (15V ±10%, min 12V at 30mA), all configurable from the front panel. Outputs can also mirror digital input states or alarm values from the serial line. An additional output (±15Vdc, 20mA max) can power external transmitters.
RS485 serial communication enables connection to supervision systems and PLCs using the MODBUS RTU protocol.
Parameter programming is organized into functional blocks (CFG for control, Inp for inputs, Out for outputs, etc.), and irrelevant parameters are automatically hidden based on hardware.
The controller is shipped with an "EASY" configuration including only the essential parameters; just set the setpoint and alarm, then run self-tuning.
A PC programming kit with cable and guided Windows software (see code WINSTRUM) simplifies configuration further. Its compact Open Frame design allows easy installation in small panels.
