Description

Microprocessor controller in 48x48 mm (1/16 DIN) format, built using SMT technology.
It features a complete operator interface protected by a Lexan membrane, providing IP65 front panel protection.
The interface includes 4 keys, dual 4-digit green LED displays, 4 red LEDs for logic or relay outputs, and 3 additional programmable LEDs to indicate operational states.
The main input is universal and supports a wide range of sensors, including:
thermocouples (J, K, R, S, T, B, E, N, Ni-Ni18Mo, L), Pt100 3-wire resistance thermometers, PTC thermistors, and linear inputs (0-50mV, 10-50mV, 0-10V, 2-10V, 0-20mA, 4-20mA) or potentiometers. Custom linearization can be set via the front panel, including a two-point correction function.
Input type is selected directly from the front panel; no external shunts or adapters are required.
An auxiliary isolated analog input is also available, configurable as linear input (0-10V, 2-10V, 0-20mA, 4-20mA), remote setpoint, potentiometer, or current transformer. This input is fully programmable, including custom linearization.
The two isolated digital inputs can be configured for selecting up to 4 local setpoints, starting/stopping/resetting the internal timer, Auto/Manual, Local/Remote functions, alarm memory reset, or input hold.
The controller supports up to 4 outputs (relay 3A/250V or logic 12Vdc, 20mA) and up to 2 isolated analog outputs (voltage or current). Each output function is fully configurable from the front panel, including control, alarm, timer, digital input repetition, retransmission of process values, setpoints, deviations, alarms, or data from serial communication.
An additional isolated output (10 or 24Vdc, 30mA max) can power external transmitters or potentiometers.
RS485 serial communication (RS232C compatible) allows reading and modifying parameters and controlling the instrument online (local/remote Manual/Automatic switching, timer control, direct output control).
Available protocols: MODBUS RTU and CENCAL (GEFRAN). Optional serial interfaces include Current Loop, RS232, or RS485, with selectable protocol (CENCAL or Modbus).
Programming is simplified by grouping parameters into function blocks (CFG for control, Inp for inputs, Out for outputs) and offering a simplified menu for frequently used settings.
For even easier setup, a PC programming kit is available, including a guided Windows configuration program and the necessary connection cable (see data sheet code 80021).
