Description

Microprocessor Setpoint Programmer & Controller – 48x48 mm (1/16 DIN)

Built using SMT technology, this compact controller offers a complete operator interface protected by a Lexan membrane with IP65 front panel protection.

Key Features

  • Interface & Indicators: 4 keys, two 4-digit green LED displays, 4 red LEDs for relay/logic outputs, and 3 programmable LEDs for operational status.
  • Universal Input: Accepts thermocouples, RTDs, thermistors, linear signals, and potentiometers. Fully configurable via keypad—no external shunts or adapters needed. Supports custom linearization and two-point input correction.
  • Auxiliary & Digital Inputs:
    • Isolated auxiliary analog input configurable as linear, potentiometer, or current transformer.
    • Two isolated digital inputs for program commands (start, stop, reset, program selection, step execution).
  • Outputs:
    • Up to 4 configurable outputs (relay 5A/250V or logic 11Vdc/20mA).
    • Up to 2 isolated analog outputs (voltage/current).
    • Additional isolated output (10 or 24Vdc, 30 mA max) to power external devices.
  • Control & Alarms:
    • Two independent PID loops for heat/cool control.
    • Three fully configurable alarms.
    • Heater break or short-circuit probe detection.
    • Local/Remote setpoint, Auto/Manual modes, self-tuning, and soft-start.
  • Programming & Operation:
    • Up to 12–16 steps organized into 4 programs, each with setpoint ramp & hold, interlocks, and event outputs.
    • Simple menu-driven configuration using function blocks (CFG = control, Inp = input, Out = output).
    • Automatic display of relevant parameters based on hardware.
    • Second setpoint can be retransmitted to a slave controller with shared time base.
  • Communication:
    • RS485 (RS232C compatible) with MODBUS RTU and CENCAL (Gefran) protocols.
    • Enables online monitoring, parameter modification, and direct control.
  • Programming Kit: Optional PC kit with Windows software and connection cable (Data Sheet code 80021).
