GF_LOOPER
Description
GF_LOOPER Multi-Runner Controller
Configuration and work pages are accessible via keys with icons. Predefined password levels ensure controlled access. Supervision pages provide a complete overview of zones, displaying PV, SP, output power, and main alarm statuses. All zones can be switched on/off simultaneously, and setpoints adjusted together using up/down keys.
Selecting an individual zone shows all parameters, with PV/SP in different colors and a bargraph showing shifts and output %. Zone status and faults (input interrupt, short circuit, partial/total load break) are indicated via icons. Authorized users can adjust SP, alarm thresholds, auto/manual status, and switch zones on/off.
Recipes of work parameters can be saved and recalled, ensuring quick setup and error-free operation. Alarms are displayed on dedicated screens with clear messages and can be recognized and reset via keys. Five password levels provide varying protection.
A trend page displays controlled variable trends with color coding and zoom options; data can be saved to a USB key in CSV format. Clock/calendar functions allow automatic on/off switching per zone. Each zone supports control types from simple ON/OFF to Heat/Cool with independent double PID. Self-tuning and Auto-tuning simplify selection of optimum control parameters.
GF_LOOPER diagnostics display critical process conditions, such as interrupted or shorted inputs and load breaks, with video alarms and physical outputs. Modbus RTU communication signals any communication interruptions. GF_LOOPER integrates with other control systems via Ethernet, RS485, USB, supporting Modbus RTU (Master), Modbus TCP, and Profibus DP.
Hot runner applications are supported with soft-start, rapid burst firing for SSRs, and diagnostics for power supply variations and input breaks, with average power continuation. The distributed control architecture ensures flexibility and adaptability for various equipment sizes and performance requirements.
Controller Functions: ON/OFF, P, PI, PID (heat-only, cool-only, or heat+cool). Cooling can be set according to the fluid used (air, oil, water). Advanced automatic tuning calculates optimal process parameters efficiently.
Alarms: Two alarm thresholds (minimum/maximum) per zone. Each alarm allows configuration of the control variable, threshold, hysteresis, and five properties (latch, disable at power-on, deviation/symmetrical, absolute/relative, direct/inverse). LBA, HB, and SBR alarms are supported with LED indications on the screen.
