Description

40B96 Force, Pressure and Displacement Transducer Indicator

Microprocessor-based indicator in 96x48 mm (1/8 DIN) format, manufactured using SMT.
The instrument features a Lexan membrane faceplate (IP65 protection) with 3 keys, a 5-digit display, and 4 LEDs indicating output statuses.
The input signal can be selected from a wide range of sensors:
  • Potentiometer (minimum 100 Ω)
  • Load cell with sensitivity autoranging between 1.5 and 3.3 mV/V
  • Strain-gauge pressure sensor
Signal selection is made using the faceplate keys.
A digital input (24Vdc/5mA) is available for resetting, hold, flash, peak handling, or releasing latch.
The instrument has up to 4 outputs, which can be mechanical relays or logic outputs.
One output of 0/4–20 mA (max. 500 Ω) is available for retransmitting the measured input signal.
Retransmission output, digital input, and the third output are available simultaneously.
A triac can be fitted to drive resistive loads up to 1A at 240V.
Programming is simplified by grouping parameters in function blocks (CFG for alarm hysteresis, Inp for inputs, Out for outputs) and a simplified data entry menu.
Configuration can be further simplified using the PC programming kit (connection cable + Windows menu guide, data sheet cod. WINSTRUM).
A configurable personal software protection code (password protection) can restrict editing and display of configuration parameters.
  • Strain-gauge or potentiometer input – configurable by faceplate
  • Sensor supply check
  • Easy calibration with sensitivity auto-ranging
  • Password-protected configuration
  • Configurable via serial link
  • Internal linearisation for engineering units
  • Labels for common physical units
  • Sampling time and trip intervention programmable (15–120 ms) with resolution from 4,000 to 30,000 steps
  • Retransmission of measured variable signal
  • 4 trip points, fully configurable from faceplate
  • 6-wire calibration / Version for magnetostrictive sensors
