CC Cylindrical force transducer for industrial applications
Description
The CC series cylindrical force transducers are specifically engineered for the plastics industry, where they are used to detect the reaction force resulting from extrusion pressure along the gearbox housing, aligned with the extruder screw axis.
Installed in contact with the thrust bearings, these sensors measure a force value which, after proper calibration, corresponds to the extrusion pressure multiplied by the screw’s surface area.
Built entirely from stainless steel, the CC models feature a hermetically welded body that also serves as the housing, providing a compact structure smaller than that of the CT series.
The connector, positioned coaxially on the transducer shank, simplifies installation in confined spaces.
